**We are looking for Web Printers to join our team in Roche**.
We have both Day and Night shifts available.

**Experience**:
Experience on Lithoman 72pp or Komori 16pp preferred, **but not essential**.
**All print experience considered.**
**Salary options**:
- **No 1 Printer - Days £35,300 base - £40,000+ inc overtime**
- **No 1 Printer - Nights £39,600 base - £45,000+ inc overtime**
- **No 2 Printer - Days £29,800 base - £35,000+ inc overtime**
- **No 2 Printer - Nights £32,500 base - £37,000+ inc overtime**
**Overtime opportunities - double time on weekends**
**7 weeks holiday**
**Work Hours**:
- Average 39 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts - 06.00am-18.00pm OR 18.00pm-06.00am with a 1-hour paid break
- Predominantly working 3 shifts a week, with 13 extra shifts to be worked throughout the year

We are seeking a skilled Web Printer to join our team
**Responsibilities**:
As a Web Printer, you will be responsible for managing the operation of the web press and crew to produce high-quality products in accordance with ISO standards and production schedules. Ensuring the highest standards of health and safety is crucial for this role. Your specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating, setting, adjusting, and maintaining the designated printing press to achieve optimal performance and meet daily/nightly production schedules.
- Enforcing and adhering to Company Health, Safety & Environment safe working procedures for the entire crew.
- Following job bag instructions and ensuring crew members understand their roles.
- Setting up the press to produce jobs in line with job bag instructions.
- Allocating tasks to crew members and ensuring they remain on the press unless given prior permission to leave.
- Maintaining a clean work area and reporting maintenance issues to the manufacturing manager/shift manager.
- Following quality procedures, including checklists and time stamps.
- Correctly labeling and quarantining products when necessary.
- Communicating additional work beyond job bag instructions to the shift manager.
- Performing printer maintenance tasks, particularly focusing on print roller maintenance.
- Maintaining lithographic printing conditions to the correct standards.
- Conducting scheduled maintenance and general cleaning of the press and surrounding areas.
- Identifying and addressing repair work and faults with mínimal downtime.
- Providing binders with quality sections for onward processing.
- Managing your press crew, giving clear instructions, and enforcing Company rules and procedures.
- Completing quality-related paperwork accurately.
- Ensuring the crew remains fully utilized during downtime.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in the press and surrounding areas.
- Identifying personnel training and development needs.
- Reporting under-performance or unsatisfactory behavior of staff to management.
- Liaising with management to maintain production schedules.
- Highlighting potential issues that could jeopardize the production schedule or cause late deliveries.
- Being prepared to carry out other duties as requested by a manager within your training and capabilities.
