About our Client
- My client has been established for over 100 years in the curtain walling sector. They work with the country?s largest Tier 1 Contractors and developers to consistently deliver high quality glazing installations. Now they are looking to add Site Manager totheir operational team

About the Role
- Ensure the project labour is managed with adequate resources to ensure project delivery in line with the clients agreed programme, and advise if insufficient
- Manage and implement quality management process and ensure that work areas are handed back to the client and the very earliest stage
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policies
- Review material, labour and plant orders and forecast with project Quantity Surveyor
- Ensure the project runs to schedule and to internal budgets, and find solutions to problems as they arise
- Be the initial point of contact at a site level for the client?s team
- Ensure plant is recorder correctly with appropriate on/off hire details and that all plant is working effectively and requirements are reviewed at least once a week
- Maintain records of any variations to include as a minimum signed CVI sheet with photographs etc as necessary
- Produce weekly site report providing marked up programmes with support daily diaries and photographs, programme and advise Operations Manager of an divergence with the contract
- Ensure that material deliveries are correctly recorded to site so that the is a clear understanding of what has been delivered to date and what are the future requirements of the site and advise the procurement department
- Build relationships with the client
- Continually review the project requirements in respect of design, materials, labour and plant to ensure that future programme dates can be achieved and advise your operations manager of any potential issues
- Co-ordinate subcontract packages to achieve project programme
- Understanding implication of health and safety regulations
- Attend internal project review meetings as requested
- Carry out statutory plant and equipment inspections and record as per health and safety policy
- Ensure that all labour on site (labour only and labour, plant & materials subcontractors) are Recorded

- At least 4 years Site Managers experience
- Must know multiple Curtain Walling and glazing systems
- Must be based in Glasgow
- Ability to keep cool under stress
- Be able to Multitask.
- Strong IT skills
