**Job Title**: Consumer Ambassador

**Location**: Devon - field based travel throughout targeted areas. Head office is based in Liskeard, Cornwall - so occasional attendance will be required here for meetings.

**Salary**: £21,000 - £25,500 DOE per annum

**Role Purpose**:The key focus of this role is to increase our base of residential broadband customers through direct engagement. Providing a first-class customer experience is a critical aspect of this role. The role holder will often be the first primary point of contact for all potential customers.

**Main Responsibilities**:
The Consumer Ambassador role holder is responsible for, but not limited to:

- Door-to-door canvassing and lead generation in identified areas throughout Devon
- Work in both an internal/ external client-facing capacity and cold calling consumers
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to connecting a customer to Wildanet.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of opportunities and record activity on Wildanet CRM
- Exceed highly achievable monthly revenue/sales targets
- Work with colleagues to develop sales techniques and shape sales & marketing collateral, such as case studies and testimonials
- Answers phone calls from prospective customers and records in Wildanet CRM
- Maintaining personal networks and attending local events to promote and sell the Wildanet offering and services
- Participate in improvement opportunities; maintaining personal networks and attending local community or business events to showcase and sale our services. This involves working evenings and weekends when required
- Activity as requested by Line Manager

**Essential Person Specification**:
**Knowledge**:

- Basic IT Knowledge, Internet, Social Networking Understanding. Telecommunications understanding is an advantage but full training will be given.

**Skills / Attributes**:

- Excellent customer skills to interact at all levels
- Excellent IT skills, ability to multitask using multiple systems
- Good telephone manner with an ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
- Appetite to exceed sales targets
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Customer / team centric
- Ability to take on tasks and complete in a timely manner and deliver as expected.
- Resilient and confident
- Experience of using a CRM and a track record of sales activity (desirable)
- Basic MS Office knowledge
- Telecommunications /broadband/fibre knowledge (desirable)

**Qualifications**:

- Good level of education, including literacy and numeracy skills
- Driving license is essential

**Experience**:

- Previous experience of selling products/services to the public is an advantage.

**Circumstances**:

- This role will involve visiting residential areas throughout Devon to promote and sell our services. Usual working hours will be 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. This role may also involve some evening and weekend working.
