Injection Moulding Team Leader

. Carry out / oversee all tool changes/tool preps
- Ensure all activities are in accordance with company standard operating procedures
- Monitor and maintain quality levels and standards
- Maintain machines & tooling with a proactive approach
- Keep scrap and machine downtime to a minimum
- Assist with management of materials to ensure adequate levels
- Accurate reporting of performance to production manager
- Enforce clean and tidy work area
- Comply with and enforce company Health & Safety standards
- Fully support and be pro-active in company 5S scheme
- Ensure critical parts are kept at set levels to minimise downtime
- Adjust setting where necessary to ensure quality product
- Communication with other departments / warehouse / maintenance and tool makers
- Must have supervisor & setting experience
- Experience of plastic injection moulding machines is essential
- Basic tooling knowledge and understanding
- Talented fault finder
- Strong understanding of safe systems at work and the ability to work safely under own supervision
- Must have good Maths & English skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to work well under own supervision and with others
- Must be able to work some overtime
- Must be able to do 6:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 shifts
- Early finish on Friday

**Salary**: £14.53-£16.53 per hour
