To support our growth strategy, we are seeking a Projects Co-ordinator. We have a small but growing team. In addition to the role outlined there will be a need to cover similar roles during holidays etc.

1. Provide supporting services at the costing/ quotation stage eg obtain supplier quotes and estimates of labour hours

2. Co-ordinate team activities and conduct contract management tasks once a contract order has been received all the way through to delivery of the product and completion of documentation to the customer’s satisfaction

3. Participate in internal communication processes relating to enquiry & order status, customer feedback etc

**Responsibilities**:

- Participation/ completion of heat exchanger assessments and cost estimates
- Receipt of purchase orders; assessing lead times for materials and labour in the form of simple project plans and materials then order acknowledging and completion of internal contract control documentation
- Completion of supplier purchase orders and progressing collections/ deliveries
- Issuing work instructions (including occasionally Inspection & Test Plans) and other documentation work record requirements
- Co-ordination of welding, NDT, machining and other services
- Progress communications to customer and internally
- Identify, document and help solve quality issues and make improvements
- Work closely with Serck management and team to maintain excellent service levels to clients as well as sharing best practice and client feedback to support continuous improvement activities

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requirements**:

- A strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles
- Demonstrable customer and supplier contact experience, preferably within industrial sectors e.g. Manufacturing industry, Marine, Power Generation, Pharmaceutical
- Previous experience of heat exchangers would be an advantage (although training will be provided; as required)
- Understanding of fabrication processes, methods and modern manufacturing techniques
- Commercial acumen
- Excellent organisation and time management; able to prioritise and plan effectively, working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to make balanced decisions in a variety of situations
- Computer Literate; familiar with Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system (training given)
