**Community Engagement Worker - Central Bedfordshire**

**Areas: LU5 | LU6 | LU7 - AM, LUNCH, TEA and PM SHIFTS AVALIABLE**

**Full time, Leighton Buzzard community positions available**

**Mandatory to have Own Vehicle and UK full driving license**

**Due to the nature of the role and the geographical area, only carers that drive with use of their own vehicle will be considered. None drivers WILL NOT be considered for this position.**

**(Part time applicants that drive may also be considered)**

**APT Care provide care to the elderly within areas of Central Bedfordshire. With a fantastic team of passionate and professional carers, our staff support people with their everyday routines, enabling them to remain at home for longer.**

APT Care are looking for new full time carers to join our Central Bedfordshire community team; supporting elderly clients with their everyday care needs within their own homes.
- **Personal Care**:

- **Food preparation**:

- **Medication Administration**:

- **Toileting Support**:

- **Washing, dressing and getting in and out of bed**:

- **Manual handling x2 carers**:

- **Single rounds x1 carer**:

- **Elderly, Learning disabilities, physical disabilities and end of life care**

We are looking for caring and committed characters who will support our everyday services to be outstanding Working collaboratively and professionally with our other Central Bedfordshire team members to ensure safe services are delivered at all times.

Full induction training available with updated refreshers training regularly. Carers have the option to complete their NVQ Level 2 and/or Level 3 post probation and will complete the 'Care Certificate' upon joining.

Immediate Joiners will be given priority

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.10-£10.60 per hour
