Security Officer

This is a PAYE position including Holiday pay and pension etc.

Must hold a valid SIA licence

Duties Include:

- Ensure Gate access is restricted to only authorised Visitors
- Checking in and out transporters, visitors, employees etc
- Monitor surveillance equipment for suspicious activity or illegal activity
- Maintain a safe and secure property
- Assist in maintaining the security of the premises
- Assist in patrolling assigned areas when site empty
- Complete all required training on a regular basis
- Day and night shifts available, with shift patterns to suit

Qualifications:

- SIA LICENCE.
- One year of experience as a security officer preferred.
- Must be able to operate equipment including but not limited to: security lights, computers, tagging system, etc.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Henstridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- security: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- SIA (required)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
