**What will you do?**

You will work with our skilled manufacturing team to produce great quality products using manual and automated machinery. You will also:

- Learn about the machinery we use, becoming a production expert.
- You’ll put theory into practice, ensuring that health and safety is not only at the front of your mind, but that it takes priority in everything you do.
- We will set you targets Yes, you will be challenged, and you’ll need to ensure department production objectives are met.
- You will lift and manoeuvre various types of products, at a variety of different weights, as and when required.
- You will actively undertake training to make sure you are constantly upskilling your personal capabilities.
- We want to grow you and your career so you will have lots of different tasks to complete.

- You’ll need to have the ability to use your own initiative when prioritising your own workload and you’ll need to be accountable for the work you are required to complete.
- Can you multitask? Great We need that too Taking on multiple tasks is part and parcel of working in manufacturing, especially at busy or peak periods.
- Are you a problem solver? A big part of any manufacturing role is having the ability to solve various issues that might arise.
- You’ll need to be physically fit and capable of moving some of our larger products. Remember, we are building large, comfortable beds here

Bensons for Beds is a British bed retailer, selling a diverse range of beds, mattresses, and bedroom furniture across its stores and online.

Our headquarters are in Accrington, Lancashire, we have stores across Britain, a telesales team, and a dedicated website. We have distribution centres in Ayr, Huncoat and Tewkesbury as well as our manufacturing facility in Huntingdon.

With over 70 years of retail and 100 years of manufacturing experience to its name, Bensons understands the importance of creating a tailored sleep experience for customers, putting sleep wellness at the heart of everything it does.

**Salary**: £16,640.00 per year
