Spray Painter

**REPORTING TO**: Workshop Supervisor

**1. ROLE STATEMENT**
Responsible for carrying out Spray Painting duties in the Mechanical Assembly Workshop, whilst adhering to EnerQuip’s QHSE standards, responsibilities, policies and procedures

**2. MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- Carry out work piece preparation and conventional industrial painting duties as directed by the paint shop or assembly supervisor
- Ensure the paint booth, paint store, waste container area and thinners store are kept to a high standard including the serviceability of equipment situated therein
- Carry out pre-use maintenance and user checks of equipment, reporting faults to the Supervisor
- Ensure paint and assembly equipment (eg sanders) are used and maintained correctly
- Ensure that the Quality and Health and Safety Management Systems are followed and any problems, perceived or real are reported
- Carry out any other duties as directed by the assembly supervisor or line management

**3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS**:

- Relevant competency standards achieved
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines
- Proven operating experience in industrial painting or in the case of a trainee the appropriate aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Ability to work in a safe and effective environment with minimum supervision

Pay: £12.00-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
