Curtain Wall Designer

A well-established, highly recognised fenestration fabricator specialising in the supply and design of curtain walling, architectural aluminium and building facades is looking to recruit an experienced Façade designer to work in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. As a Curtain Wall Designer / Estimator you will have exceptional customer service skills. You will be working closely alongside clients to discuss technical requirements and to develop comprehensive façade designs using robust detailing, ensuring specification within budget and within timeframe.

**Key responsibilities & duties**:
Produce high end technical drawings and AutoCAD design proposal

Have a good eye for detail and accuracy

Be able to work diligently on their own and within a well-established team

Be able to confidently read and understand technical drawings

Answer technical design queries from client, the company's sales team & installers

Attend internal and external meetings to discuss client requirements

**Essential knowledge & experience**:
Previous work experience of AutoCAD

Knowledge of curtain walling, window, door & structural glazing design

Good understanding of building construction, methods & regulations

Previous experience working with clients and architects

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in curtain wall design

**Desirable knowledge & experience**:
Previous work experience of Fusion360
