Patent Counsel Engineering

A rare opportunity has emerged for a Patent Attorney specialising in Mechanical Engineering to bolster the rapidly growing ranks of one of G2 Legals most innovative clients. This in house role will see your expertise being taken to the next level, whilstallowing you to create a good understanding of the companies business objectives. Furthermore you will be working in a smaller team than usual which presents the opportunity to develop more meaningful relationships with colleagues and overall learning fromeach other to exceed the demands of the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and assisting overseas patent attorneys
- Working directly with external solicitors and counsel on contentious issues when they arise
- Working with the companies’ senior engineers and engineering directors
- Being able to adapt quickly as other responsibilities may fall upon your shoulders in a fast-paced working environment

Qualifications:

- 1-4 Years PQE
- Dual qualified
- Previous experience in mechanical engineering, familiar with working machines, mechanical power systems including hydrogen ICEs, mechanical structures and hydraulics
- Knowledge of registered designs would be beneficial but not essential
