Eden Brown Education are recruiting Youth Worker (Princess Trust Team Member) within a the enrichment programme.
Job requirements:

- Experience of working on engagement programmes
- Have a flexible approach in engaging young people and children in formal and informal learning
- Be empathetic, patient and understanding, and be passionate about empowering young people to improve engagement and enthusiasm towards learning by using innovative strategies. Teachers with a background in youth work or working in a Pupil Referral Unit isdesirable but not imperative.
- Working alongside a Princes Trust Team Member and learning support staff to facilitate an engagement programme for 2 groups of Achieve Students. Each group has 15 students on register who have a range of needs.
- Supporting young people to engage in activities that promote emotional and physical wellbeing, as well as building important life and social skills, for example cooking, team building, starting a business
- Experience PRU or youth work desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Good classroom management
