**Position: Associate or Senior Editor, Nature Machine Intelligence**

**Location: Shanghai, Beijing, or New York
- Hybrid working model**

**Deadline: 31, March, 2024**

Nature Machine Intelligence publishes both fundamental and applied research in a wide range of areas in artificial intelligence and robotics. The journal incorporates elements of computer science, machine learning, engineering, mathematics, physics, neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, and bioinformatics. The journal also publishes news, commentary and perspectives on the impact of machine intelligence on science and society.

**Applications should include the following**:
1. A cover letter telling us who you are and why you want to become a full-time Nature journal editor. Please also mention your salary expectations and your preferred location.

2. A CV detailing your education, relevant employment history, list of published research papers, and any other achievements that you feel demonstrate your suitability for the position.

3. A concise discussion of some recent developments in two or more fields in artificial intelligence or robotics which you have found particularly exciting (explaining why).
