Reception Supervisor

Linton Lodge Oxford is seeking an experienced Assistant Reception Manager to join our team.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the reception team at the Linton Lodge Oxford, a Best Western Signature Collection. We are looking for enthusiastic, genuine person who is flexible, well organised, and have a desire to work in the hospitality industry.
As and Assistant Reception Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the front office and providing excellent customer service to our guests.
Reporting to: Reception Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising, Assisting in training, and managing the front desk staff
- Ensuring front desk procedures and standards are consistently followed
- Handling guest reservations, check-ins/outs, billing, and addressing guest requests and complaints
- Completing daily financial reports and cash reconciliations
- Identifying and implementing improvements to front office operations
- Upholding company standards for service, quality, and health and safety
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years experience in hotel front office
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel property management systems
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanour
