Stone Processor

Bespoke Fireplaces are looking to recruit a Stone Processor for their machine shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the leading manufacturer of marble surrounds.

Role:
1) Ensure marble is of acceptable standard before processing.

2) Cut, mitre and polish marble stone products, as instructed, in preparation for assembly.

3) Collate all ancillary items to complete requirements.

4) Ensure all paperwork is completed and passed to the relevant recipient.

5) Adhere to the Company’s high standards of Housekeeping and workplace cleanliness

6) Follow and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations as directed.

Key Skills:
1) Positive work ethic and attitude.

2) Capable of working within a dedicated team as well as being able to work on their own initiative.

3) Comfortable with hand and mechanical tooling as well as being able to carry out manual handling and lifting tasks.

4) Understanding of mathematical/numerical instructions as well as being comfortable with administrative procedures and associated paperwork.

5) Willingness to carry out duties outside of their daily role.

6) Prepared to work within factory conditions which will be affected by temperature and dust production.

7) Whereas no specific skills are required as full training will be given, previous work experience with marble or within the

construction/manufacturing sectors would be an advantage.

8) Full driving licence and or forklift truck licence would be preferred, though not essential. Also, previous experience with overhead cranes would be beneficial.

Work Schedule:
40 Hour week

Monday - Friday, Day shift

Overtime where and when required

Wage: Negotiable

**Salary**: £10.18-£15.00 per hour
