**The team at Ortus Recruitment are dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning is being implemented in our client schools. We are currently looking for an experienced, proactive and passionate individual to join the team at a primary school in the London Borough of Brent.**

As a **Learning Support Assistant** you will be encourage emotional, social and academic development amongst students with Special Educational Needs. You will need to confidently **lead numeracy, literacy and phonics interventions** in small groups of raise attainment and help students achieve set targets. Some students will require support on a **1:1 basis** if their needs are more severe.

If you have prior **experience working with SEN children** or experience with **behaviour management** then this role is for you Individuals with **relevant qualifications** are also encouraged to apply.

You will be aided by a lovely and supportive Senior Leadership Team, who will always be on hand. As well as this, the school offer **CPD courses** and **training** when necessary to help further your career and for those deemed most suitable, there is the opportunity to be placed on the school's **Teacher Training Programme**.

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
