Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA (Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant) to join our team. As an SEN TA, you will provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs, ensuring their well-being and promoting their educational development. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with autism and other special needs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with students with special educational needs, providing one-on-one support or small group instruction
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
- Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Help students with daily tasks such as personal care, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians
- Foster effective communication between students, teachers, parents/guardians, and other professionals involved in the student's care
**Skills**:
- Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Ability to provide care for toddlers and meet their specific needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students

**Salary**: £11.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
