Trainee Surveyor

**Trainee Remedial Treatments and Preservation Surveyor** required to join the team of an expanding local contractor who is going through an exciting period of transformation and change.

The role is to carry out damp and timber defect surveys on residential properties throughout the North East of England.

You will be expected to visit properties to undertake the survey and then write up reports for submission to the client.

You will provide regular and professional communication and liaison with customers and key stakeholders in relation to works instructed so good communication skills are required.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years construction experience and be prepared to undertake formal training to achieve CSTDB/CSDB accreditation.

Salary based on construction trade experience, starting at £28k pa.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm.

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Construction: 5 years (preferred)
