Pharmacy Dispenser working in a local independent pharmacy, responsible for providing exceptional customer-focused service, counter assistance, appropriate health counselling, labelling, dispensing medications, receiving and maintaining stock, and general retail roles.
Pharmacy Dispensers undertake a range of roles within the pharmacy, which includes the following:
- Sale of over the counter medicines
- Provision of information to customers on symptoms and products
- The assembly of prescribed items (including the generation of labels)
- Ordering, receiving and storing pharmaceutical stock
- The supply of pharmaceutical stock
- Shop stock organisation; date checking, stock level maintenance
- Cleaning and overall general housekeeping
- Delivery of medication / collection of prescription from surgery when required
Requirements and Desired skills:
- Applicant must display an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills
- Confidentiality is essential
- A methodical and organised, calm approach
- A high level of concentration
- Attention to detail
- Training to gain qualification will be provided
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
Work Location: In person
