Warehouse Operative

Are you looking for a warehouse position where every day is slightly different? You would be a critical part of our team within a rapidly growing company. This is a role where you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks all to ensure customers always receive the best possible service. From building and replenishing stock, picking and packing customer orders, arranging shipping to maintaining warehouse standards.

We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to work with our innovative team. Reporting to the Business Support Manager, you should be comfortable working both on your own or as part of a team, enjoy working in a warehouse and be comfortable taking responsibility for picking and despatching orders.

Monday to Friday: 09.00 - 17.00

**Warehouse Operative Roles and Responsibilities**
- First face seen for anybody entering the warehouse
- Check deliveries for dates and correct quantities. Report any discrepancies. All deliveries to be recorded
- Unpack deliveries by hand. Some heavy lifting involved
- Make sure that all products are stored in the correct environment (e.g. fridges, chest freezers, general warehouse)
- Build and assemble products following a set process
- Accurate use of the order management system, accurate picking of order items and stock movement records
- Ensure correct shipping information is processed and displayed ready for courier collection
- Regular data gathering to support warehouse storage condition compliance

**Warehouse Operative Requirements and Qualifications**
- Enthusiasm and an adaptable approach to carrying out duties
- Good time keeping skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Taking responsibility to ensure targets and deadlines are met
- Basic computer skills (Excel). Training will be given for courier websites
- Comfortable working alone or in a small team
