Quality Control Inspector

We are a manufacturer of orthopedic components/materials manufactured to high specifications for the medical industry. Our main focus is to supplying high quality medical products to exacting customer and international specifications, supported by our technical department which is capable of testing polymeric materials to the highest standards. In order to support continued business growth we require an enthusiastic person to join the Quality Control Inspection teams within our DCM department.

**Key Accountable Areas**:

- Conducting visual tests on medical components, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Working towards client-specific and high quality production
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
- Ensure that all products are thoroughly quality checked
- Use of Syspro to book materials and stock to and from DCM jobs
- Creation of, and signing off on Certificates of Compliance for medical grade implants

**Required Qualifications/Knowledge**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) experience preferred

**Experience**
- Previous experience working in a quality inspection role

**Hours of Employment**
- Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00 with half an hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks,
Friday 08.00-13.00 with one 15 minute break
- Duties and hours may vary dependent upon workload
