Masterclass are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join the team. As a HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting the human resources function within a school, based in burgess Hill. You will be assisting with various administrative tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, and personnel management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in HR within an educational setting.

The school boasts some excellent facilities to aid its students who have a background or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).

**The Role**:

- Monday - Friday
- 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Term time only
- Immediate start
- £98.10 -£105.10 Daily pay
- Burgess Hill

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both in hard copy and electronic formats.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, and documenting outcomes.
- Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, verification, and resolving discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist with the implementation of HR policies and initiatives, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.

**Must have**:

- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
