Position: Revenues Officers (Temporary)

Location: Home-Based

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week), 5 days per week

The Role:
We are seeking Home-Based Revenues Officers for temporary contracts during a period of transition. Applicants must have experience with Northgate (NEC) Revenues & Benefits Software, as well as Council Tax registration, billing, and recovery.

**Duties**:
Duties include dealing with customers via telephone and working from the document management system. Key responsibilities are as follows:

- Progressing debt recovery at the summons stage and beyond, including various actions related to changes of circumstances, discount and exemptions, deaths, setting up and amending Direct Debits, BACS amendments, Direct Debit recalls, refunds, account updates following re-banding by the Valuation Office Agency (VOA), gathering information on sole and main residency, supporting discount reviews, and escalating recovery actions.
- Processing and monitoring attachments of earnings/benefits.
- Monitoring payment arrangements.
- Other relevant duties.

Requirements (ESSENTIAL):
Experience with Northgate (NEC) Revenues & Benefits Software.

Experience with Council Tax registration, billing, and recovery.
