Independent Events are an event company based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, we design, build and run every part of our events and with our busiest time of year approaching, we are looking to expand our team to aid the preparations for multiple festive event builds.

We are looking for help for an event install in **Bury, Greater Manchester** but this may lead to more work in the future.

**Skilled joiner/carpenter -** **must have own tools**

**Location - **Central Bury, Greater Manchester

**Dates & Hours -**

26th March 6pm - 10pm

27th March 10am - 10pm

Please note due to the loaction we can only do full build work from 6pm - 10pm. The daytime shift on 27th March will be work within the structure.

**Duties**:

- Assist with the installation of structures
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Perform a variety of skilled tasks in construction, maintenance, and repair projects
- General duties such as painting and mending (mainly working with wood)

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team

We offer competitive pay based on experience (paid on a self-employed basis). This is a temporary position with opportunities for ongoing work during busy periods. If you have the required skills and are looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
