**Senior Electrical Engineer**
**£50,000 - £60,000 + Excellent Company Benefits + Progression to Management**

Are you an Electrical Engineer with a background in the UK rail industry sector? Are you looking for your next career step to develop your technical expertise whilst also improving your managerial skills?
The company are a design consultancy that contract out to major clients throughout the rail industry both in the UK and abroad. With a strong reputation for providing projects from concept to commission, they are the go-to consultancy for clients looking tocreate and implement technically challenging projects.
On offer is a position in their Engineering team as a Senior Electrical Engineer that will be responsible for design, calculations, risk assessments and installation procedures on a wide range of projects. You will be responsible for liaising with other departmentsthroughout the design process including Project and Structural Engineers. In addition to completing your duties as an Electrical Engineer, you will also use your technical expertise to provide guidance for more junior members of the team.
This role would suit a technically astute Electrical Engineer looking to develop their skills further whilst also taking advantage of the opportunity to further enhance your management skills.
**The Role**:

- Provide technical input at all stages of design projects.
- Communicate with clients at every stage of the project to gain information to keep projects on track.
- Offer guidance and support to junior members of the team.

**The Person**:

- Possess a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Have a sound understanding of the UK Rail sector.
- Possess, or working towards chartership with a recognised Engineering industry body.
