Seaford Medical Practice requires receptionists to join it's ever expanding reception and admin team in delivering care to the patients within the local area.
Ideally looking for 2 full time receptionists working 35 hours per week, but will also consider job shares and part time applicants equally.
**Job Summary**:
Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the reception area
**Responsibilities**:
Reception duties to include:
- Making and cancelling appointments on the front desk and over the telephone, which includes care navigating the patient to the most appropriate services, where required.
- Dealing with all patient’s enquiries and requests.
- Recording requests for home visits
- Issuing repeat prescriptions
- Scanning letters into patient records and filing to the appropriate GP or department
- Sorting mail and patient letters
- Registering temporary and permanent residents
- Accepting and checking registration forms for new patients
- Charging patients for non-NHS work, providing an invoice and recording in cash book
Additional Duties:
- Assisting the Reception Manager and senior receptionists in any of their relevant duties when required
