YOUR ROLE

Due to an exciting new partnership with a global ecommerce customer based within our new facility in Ryton-on-Dunsmore (CV8 3LF) we have several exciting opportunities for passionate and customer centric Warehouse Operatives.

Working with a newly built operational team, you will be joining an operation at the start of its journey where you will be responsible for the movement and storage of goods to, from and within the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time to meet and exceed client, customer, and company expectations.

You will work Monday to Friday, 12pm-8pm and receive a basic hourly rate of £11.63 per hour. If you are a holder of an FLT license you will also receive an additional £14.00 per week.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

- Unloading vehicles, ensuring goods are in excellent condition, the count is correct from the WMS system including goods received notes, and all paperwork is accurately completed.
- Loading vehicles in line with the manifest ensuring the load is safe for transit and all paperwork is completed.
- Picking goods within the warehouse as instructed by management.
- Reporting all accidents, incidents, damages, near misses and hazards immediately to management ensuring swift actions are taken.
- Moving goods to designated warehouse locations.
- Assembling goods as instructed using WMS systems.
- Promoting and follow all Health and Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintaining hygiene standard across the warehouse and clean as you go.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This role will require someone who is physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as unloading and loading vehicles, pick and pack and moving goods across the warehouse.

It would be desirable, however not essential if you already hold and FLT license and have experience of barcode scanning and manual handling.
