Service Charge & Rental Accountant - Weybridge - £30K-£35K PA
An exciting role has arisen for a proactive, tenacious self-starter who will report directly to the Managing Director.
This role is first response for tenants and has ownership for the successful collection of all rents. Keeping commercial arrears to a minimum this new role has an opportunity to develop and structure as seen fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing of commercial rents and service charges using in house Property Management System
- Rent Reconciliation - Checking the client bank account, checking and downloading daily bank receipts and reconciling against tenant debtor schedule to ensure that the correct rent has been paid
- Allocate to the tenants account on CRM
- Daily / weekly bank reconciliations to be carried out.
- Manage & Chase Rental Arrears
- Reporting - Advise arrears position to the rest of the team on a regular basis.
- Insurance - Manage the annual invoicing of insurance rent recharges and late payment fees
- Service Charge Accounts and Reconciliation
- Provide support for the Commercial Property Manager with the purchase ledger side of the service charge as and when required.
- Provide Admin Support for completion statements, fee invoices, rent memo's, letters, heads of terms etc when needed if not carried out by Agency.
Essential skills
- Good financial management skills
- Good Microsoft suite skills
- Highly attentive to detail and diligent.
- Computer literate with financial systems (Re-leased ideally)
- Self-motivated and organised
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form
Salary
£30,000 - £35,000 PA
Remote working 1 day per week
4 days office based in Weybridge
