Retrofit Assessor - DEA Qualified with RdSAP Knowledge

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and fully trained Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) to join our team as a Retrofit Assessor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our nationwide retrofit projects aimed at improving the energy efficiency of residential properties.

The Role:
As a Retrofit Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing multiple properties per day, conducting comprehensive technical surveys, and gathering essential data to inform retrofit recommendations. Key responsibilities include:

- Completing full Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP) surveys on residential dwellings
- Evaluating the property's current energy performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Assessing the suitability of various retrofit measures such as insulation, heating systems, and renewable technologies
- Producing detailed reports with recommendations for appropriate retrofit solutions
- Extensive travel in and around Scotland and parts of England will be required

**Requirements**:

- Must be a fully trained Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) with up-to-date RdSAP accreditation, preferably Elmhurst accredited
- Strong knowledge of the energy assessment process, construction methods, and building regulations
- Familiarity with energy efficiency measures, renewable technologies like air source heat pumps and solar PV would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple site visits and work to deadlines
