**IT Support (Apprentice Opportunity) - Weber - Flitwick**
**Full time position - Monday - Friday (37 hours per week)**

**Is this role right for me?**
The IT Assistant Apprentice Is known for supporting the IT Manager to provide IT support to the business and its employees. This includes all aspects of IT such as first line support and basic networking such as investigating hardware issues, patching, maintainingdocumentation and supporting hardware installations.
**Hours of Work** - Monday Friday 08:30am - 5pm
**What will I be doing?**
- The role holder will have a basic understanding of PC and technology or a clear interest in the area would is desirable. They will be competent in Microsoft 365. The role of IT assistant is an apprenticeship via QA (Infrastructure Technician ApprenticeshipLevel 3). The role holder will therefore need to be committed to their personal & professional development.
- The IT assistant will be providing first line IT support, and general hardware/software support to their customer i.e. setting up new starter equipment and installing printers and mobile phones etc. It is essential that the role holder is able to communicateclearly both verbally and in writing.
- The IT assistant will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and other teams such as the central Saint-Gobain IT department (SGTS).
- The IT assistant will work to short deadlines for example, setting up new starter IT equipment at short notice. The role holder will therefore need to be agile and able to prioritise.
- The IT assistant will need to work collaboratively with managers and colleagues at all levels. The IT assistant will have a clear drive to learn and share best practice.

**Transferable Skills Desired**:
- Competent in Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams and Outlook.
