**Job Title**: Quality Manager
**Location**: Caerphilly
**Salary**: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum
**Hours**: Full time Permanent role. Monday - Friday days regular
Here at The Recruitment Co we are recruiting an experienced Quality Manager to work for a client based in the Caerphilly area.
The main aspects of your job will be to ensure that Plant Quality is working towards its business objectives and continuously improving to achieve Excellent customer service, maintaining a robust business management system and operational procedures whilstcoaching and mentoring its people.
**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Customer Satisfaction, verify internal and external concerns - customer liaison / site visits. Approve/contest Claims, raise supporting documentation. Understanding of customers
products
- Manage Customer complaints responses in line with the 8D requirements
- Structured approach to problem solving - using A3 and root cause analysis tools and techniques such as, 5 Why's, Ishikawa, adopt new process adherence and surveillance
measures through good Quality Engineering practices
- Identify, conduct, or support continuous improvement actions, Report Extrusion Business System monthly and quarterly updates
- Lead ISO 9001 internal and external audits (Facilitate the introduction IATF accreditation)
- Ensure the BMS is maintained to the correct level and being followed
- Identify training requirements of the department, update training matrices
- Carry out and progress annual appraisals for the department
- Report Monthly / Quarterly quality figures complete with action to address, update claims database
- Support Sales/Engineering NPI with tech support on products and specifications
- Ensure departmental procedures are followed
- Ensure personal safety is paramount along with the safety of others
- Adhere to all PPE requirements
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures, process and regulations

**To be considered for this role you must have**:

- 3-5 years working as a Quality Manager/Engineer in a Manufacturing environment is desirable
- Manufacturing background essential
- Ideally Degree/HND in an Engineering discipline
- Understand of Engineering drawings and CMM measurement techniques
- Track record of robust solution solutions to achieve year on year quality improvements
- Good financial awareness
