**Project Manager/ Technical Project Manager - Scientific**

**Location**: Skipton, hybrid role - 2 days remote. Occasional travel to other UK sites.

**Type**: x1 permanent role and x1 12 month FTC available

**Salary**: Competitive DOE.

**Additional**: Upto 10% bonus, Pension - EE 3%, ER 6% or EE 4%, ER 8%, 4x annual salary life assurance

ContBUPA private medical care, canteen, gym etc

**Hours**: Monday - Thursday (8.30 - 16:30), Friday (8:30 - 13:30)
- Russell Taylor Group is working exclusively with a Global Medical Devices company and looking to appoint x2 Technical - Project Managers. This would be a great move for someone to move into the Medical Devices industry or for a PM with related experienceto work for a company who are front leaders in innovation and R&D. _

**The Role**:
The Project Manager takes on the responsibility of defining, organising, controlling, and delivering all aspects of project activity from concept to launch (in the case of New Product Developments) and/or complete technology transfers (in the case of siteproduct introductions). They will lead a project team and utilise shared service resources to perform the project work, ensuring execution is within the required quality standards, cost and timeframe.
- Has demonstrated experience and managerial ability to provide leadership for cross-functional personnel working within projects.
- Develop strategies to ensure delivery of development goals.
- Ensure that processes and individuals are in place to ensure work is thoroughly thought
- through, designed, conducted, documented and presented in a controlled and consistent manner.
- As an expert, plans and manages development projects.
- Has responsibility for project budget, resourcing and work prioritization.
- Directly responsible for on-time delivery of project to agreed quality levels
- Acts as a spokesperson in their own area of expertise.
- Demonstrates the ability to execute complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Shares knowledge and influences colleagues within the group and the wider business.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Manages budget and project timings and ensures that all work conducted adheres to applicable regulations.
- Ensures that projects are effectively planned, designed, conducted, documented, implemented, benefits realized and presented.
- Creates and maintains professional internal and external business relationships.

**The Person**:

- Will hold a degree in a relevant - Scientific/ Technical field.
- PRINCE 2 qualification highly desirable.
- Must have proven project management experience in a similar setting (could be Pharmaceutical, Laboratory, Chemical, Contract Testing etc.
- Experience managing projects through Scientists, Engineers and / or Technical Leaders
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
