GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Pershore area for a Sales Executive to join their ever growing and highly successful business, on a full time, permanent contract.
As a Sales Executive, you will be building on new and existing relationships to ensure clients get the best possible service from the business. You will also be bringing on new and exciting opportunities for the business.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, results driven team player that can demonstrate excellent customer service, data entry and sales experience.
Sales Executive main duties:
- The role is primarily telesales but with an opportunity to do some field sales and follow up work.
- You will be responsible for generating your own leads and seeing the prospect from initial conversation through to closure.
- You are expected to make around 40 calls per day, establishing relationships with decision makers, with the aim of identifying potential customers and their needs.
- Primary target market is the whole of the UK.
- Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies
- To report to management on your successes & challenges
- Develop relationships with customers and businesses.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with current customers & businesses by providing information, guidance, and support, recommending new products & new opportunities.
Sales Executive desired skills and experience
- Ideally will have B2B sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of achieving targets.
- Perfect spoken and written English is essential
- A willingness and ability to learn about our Courier Services, describe them to prospects and become a ‘consultant’ they can trust
- Whilst some training will be provided, we expect good general IT skills and a competent level of use in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an open, enthusiastic manner that fits the consultative style we use
The standard office hours for this role will be Monday - Friday, 08:45am - 17:15pm.
For all the above you will be rewarded with a basic salary up to £25,000 which is demonstrable with experience, plus additional company benefits.
Our client offers a fantastic OTE commission structure which is ideal for an individual who is money hungry.
