Repairs Supervisor

Adecco's specialist Property Services Division North are delighted to be partnering with a regional West Yorkshire based Housing provider assist them in recruiting for 2X Repairs Supervisors for a 4 months FTC and 9 months FTC to work on sites on housing refurbishment.

**Purpose**

Play a lead role in the delivery of the day to day emergency and responsive repair and maintenance service, voids, pest control, damp proof works and other associated services deliverable for the organisation while organising and controling an efficient and cost-effective maintenance and repair service for a designated area taking responsibility for all directly employed tradespeople and use of any sub-contractors or agency staff as appropriate.

**Duties**
- ensure that the Repairs teams performs within agreed and established targets, Key Performance Indicators and budgets
- need to be fully aware of appropriate legislation and statutory requirements
- continually seek opportunities to introduce new working practices that generate efficiency;
- contribute to the development and assist with the delivery of customer service excellence across all aspects of the service
- be responsible for the production, implementation and control of effective and efficient manual and computerised record systems and procedures for all current work streams
- prepare and assist in the delivery of agreed performance targets that contribute to team plans whilst delivering quality outcomes within set budgets and targets which maybe based on plans, specifications or site measurement
- have supervisory responsibility for all transport being used by operatives you are responsible for including hire vehicles ensuring that all safety checks and regulations are complied with.
- Previous supervisory experience in a housing maintenance environment
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS Health and Safety
- First Aid Trained
- Full UK driving License
- Experience within the Decent Homes and/or Capital Works environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of schedule of rates.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate with management

**Pay and benefits**
- £35,144 Annual
- Van & Fuel card
- 15.7% pension
- 37 hour working week
- 25+8 holidays rising to 30+8 after 5 years
