**Description**

**The key responsibilities of a Payroll Manager will include, but may not be limited to;**
- Consult at a strategic level to support with complex queries
- All aspects of payroll management
- New system implementation and processes
- End to end payroll processing - payroll controls/compliance
- Ensure submission of payroll data is accurate and meets deadlines
- Payroll reconciliations
- Resolving queries in a professional manner
- Monitor and report on service delivery standards of payroll service
- To deal with any pay related benefits and pension related queries
- Assist the development of projects, plans and timetables
- Provide advice to key stakeholders in relation to pay and benefits matters
- Support the development of the payroll team

**Profile**

**The successful Payroll Manager must possess the following skill set and experience;**
- Experience of managing payroll service, including expenses, pensions and benefits
- Knowledge of payroll and pension regulations and legislation
- Good customer service skills
- Consultative background within resolving complex queries
- Able to meet deadlines and accuracy of payroll services
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems as well as Excel and other payroll related software
- Wide knowledge of payroll and pensions
- Housing background and understanding of policies and procedures
- Implementation/project background desirable
