**Behaviour Mentor - Full time, term time, permanent**

**Pay scale: GLPC Band E Scale 12-19 or Band F Scale 20-24 dependent on experience (pro-rata)**

Walter Halls Primary School is a busy and diverse two-form Primary and Nursery school serving the communities of St Anns and Mapperley. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to join our committed and skilled pastoral team, working hard to remove the barriers some of our children face in accessing their learning.

**You will be someone who**:

- Is calm, patient and committed to helping children who display challenging behaviours.
- Has a passion for working in inner-city schools and a strong belief that all children can achieve with the right adults around them.
- Is excellent at forming positive relationships with all children and families and is quick to be seen as a trustworthy role model for our children to listen and respond to.
- Has experience, knowledge and skills in supporting children with a range of behavioural needs.
- Has the ability to work as a part of a large team of professionals, sharing ideas and good practice, working collaboratively.
- Has high standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
