**The main duties of this role**:

- Drives patients, children, young people/adults to a variety of different activities, ensuring that the journey is completed in a safe and timely manner, using the most efficient route.
- Complies at all times with Aspris’ Driving Policy
- Drives staff and other visitors to/from the service as required by the line manager. Collects and delivers consumables or assets for the service.
- Ensures that the service’s vehicles are cleaned regularly, and that any damage or faults are dealt with immediately. Also ensures that the vehicles are fuelled at all times.
- Ensures that the service’s vehicles are maintained in the correct and safe manner, ensuring that all professional servicing is carried out in line with the manufacturer’s guidance.

Aspris College North Wales (Formerly Priory College North Wales) is an independent specialist day college, providing support and care for young people aged 16 to 25 years with Asperger syndrome, an autistic spectrum disorder and associated conditions. The college works in partnership with mainstream colleges.

Aspris College North Wales provides a safe and supportive learning environment where our young people can explore their own experience of Asperger syndrome and develop strategies for managing their condition as part of their lives. **Previous experience is required as well as a clean, full UK driving licence.**

**Communication** - During your role your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties

**Organisation** - You’ll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.
