Dustcart Driver

Our client is currently recruiting for a Dustcart Driver/Loader to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in the Chelmsford area

Working on waste collection rounds you will be required to successfully lead a small team of refuse loaders to collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties. Work is to be completed efficiently and you must ensure the daily rounds are completed.

This is a truly exciting and incredibly important opportunity which will offer work within the council and mean you will achieve their vision of keeping our streets clean

**Role Requirements**:

- Attention to detail and care - You will be driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle in residential areas; therefore you must be able to demonstrate the ability to reverse and manoeuvre in tricky areas with precision and care.
- Complete daily rounds as efficiently and effectively as possible
- Complete daily vehicle checks in line with our client’s procedures and H&S requirements

**Working hours**:
Monday to Friday
6:30am/7am start
35 hours a week and the days are job and finish.

Overtime occasionally available

£13 per hour*

+Overtime

Weekly pay

INHP

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 37 per week

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
