Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying

The University of Wolverhampton has made a major strategic investment of £100M in the establishment of a dedicated campus with new facilities for the School of Architecture and Built Environment. Located on a 12-acre city centre site, the Springfield campus is part of the brownfield regeneration of the City of Wolverhampton canal-side redevelopment. The School of Architecture and Built Environment is one of five Schools forming the Faculty of Science and Engineering having excellent industrial links, active research programmes and professionally accredited courses. The School is committed to further growing its excellent teaching provision, existing research portfolio and consultancy provision.

You will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and to cooperate wholeheartedly with other staff in the School in their wide-ranging activities. Contribution to the School’s research, industry engagement portfolio, recruitment, marketing, transnational education and other business activities within the School.

You will also collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Faculty’s programmes and also work in accordance with the University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students work and give feedback. The Senior Lecturers will lead in the contributing to the wider students experience through personal tutoring, excellent classroom teaching, learning and providing support in and outside the classroom. You will supervise research degree students and manage research project, as appropriate.
