Our client is looking to hire a Head of Finance. As a key member of the leadership team, you will support the CEO by providing strong financial control, decision support and aid the strategic vision of the business. We are seeking a qualified accountant with a proven track record in leading and developing teams.
**THE ROLE**:
The business is going through change and transformation and the next 12 months will an opportunity to shape and develop the team, financial and CRM systems and improve working practices.
Supporting the CEO and Board with short and long term goals
Providing decision support
Overseeing the board pack and supporting MI and commercial analysis
Monitoring and reporting on financial performance
Overseeing the monthly management accounting and supporting analysis
Providing leadership and direction to the finance department
Managing the Group reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Ad hoc Group and Board information requests
Reducing risk by ensuring adequate financial processes, systems and controls are in place
Leading the annual statutory reports and accounts
Managing the relationship with the external auditors
Ensuring tax compliance
Reporting under GAAP
Liaison with Group Treasury and managing the working capital
Lead the financial systems and implementation
Leading continuous improvement and automation
**THE IDEAL PERSON**:
A commercial qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Experience working within a leadership role
A proactive approach to streamline processes
Strong IT skills, ideally with experience of systems upgrades
Experience of working with senior leadership and managing multi-disciplined teams
Strong presentation and communication skills
