This is an opportunity to join our highly successful and growing, field-based animal care training team. We are looking for a dedicated and inspirational individual to use their knowledge and experience of the industry, to develop and support our learners in achieving their Apprenticeship.

You will need:

- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Animal Care or veterinary nursing
- Excellent communication and people skills and to be professional and approachable
- Competent computer skills and a willingness to learn to use an e-portfolio as well as the ability to work via remote communication platforms confidently.
- A driving licence and willingness to travel across counties in the required area.

Desirable:

- Teaching experience in an FE or HE environment
- A teaching qualification at L3 or above
- TAQA L3 or equivalent and/or assessment experience
- An understanding of work-based learning
- GCSEs at Grade C or above in Maths, English
- Dog grooming qualifications or experience

You will also need the self-discipline to manage your own time and workload and undertake the administration required of the post.

This could be either a full-time post, or part time of 4 days a week, depending upon applicants’ choice and any will be permanent positions. You will work from your own home, with a combination of remote training sessions and face to face visits for a workload of learners in the areas identified above i.e. Warrington and surrounding areas.

Salary £26,000 - £28,000 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience, plus travel expenses and pension scheme.
