Deputy Operational Lead

Any new starters are joining the service at an exciting time. Both teams are expanding the work force and working on exciting service development projects. You would work clinically across both teams and join the operational leads in the day to day running of the service.

Both teams have learning and teaching as key team values and you would support with this.

At present, due to COVID-19, we are offering a combination of digital appointment and in person service for our at most patient. However, when functioning normally, you will be based in our Aylesbury office.

To support the Operational Lead in the day to day running and delivery
of the Adult Community Eating Disorder service whilst also holding a clinical caseload.
To undertake comprehensive urgent and routine eating disorder assessments alongside the multidisciplinary team.
To work alongside the Operational Lead in the management and further development of the Community Eating Disorders team within an agreed clinical model. This will include developing clinical structures, recruiting staff and implementing the service.
To deputise for the Operational Lead when required.
To maintain a safe, effective and therapeutic clinical team while ensuring the delivery of highquality care. To be responsible for the joint line management, case supervision and appraisal of team colleagues.
To take a key role in ensuring effective joint working with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure responsive and appropriate service delivery to patients and carers.
To represent the service both externally and internally in respect of all the above.
