At our Refurb centres in Leicester and Doncaster we refurbish parts and assets from our Electricity transmission sites in order to extend their lifecycle.
As a Maintenance Fitter you'll manufacture Low Voltage control boards for switchgear control systems and protection relays for circuit breaker systems, and you'll also refurbish and maintain National Grid switchgear.
Participating in all refurbishment activities for the centre ensuring equipment is maintained and manufactured to the highest standard, you'll look after the workshop, ensuring the highest of safety and quality standards are maintained. You'll take part in corporate and external audits to maintain accreditations and continued operation of all activities. In addition, you'll liaise with the wider refurbishment team and Asset management teams to develop standard operating procedures and work specifications.
This role is based at our refurbishment centre in Doncaster.

**About you**:
With a Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (preferably electronic or electrical), coupled with extended knowledge relating to the wiring and operation of relays and connector boards, you'll have knowledge of fault finding on LV equipment.
You'll also have a working knowledge of IS09001 and quality management systems and experience of delivering performance improvement in an operation and maintenance related discipline. In addition, you'll possess a full driving licence.
