**Senior CNC Turner**

**£18.00 Per hour DOE**

**Padiham, Lancashire**

**Monday - Thursday 8AM - 5:30 PM Friday - 8AM -12PM**

We are looking to speak with CNC Turner.

Our client is a world class Engineering Precision company and have been around for over 50 years dealing with varied types of machining and mainly small batch automotive work.

They offer a complete engineering service that includes CAD/CAM designs, prototyping, high volume production and delivery of fully finished precision engineered components. Their well-equipped CNC machine shop houses a comprehensive range of machining, milling,and turning equipment, all using CNC technology, that enables them to meet the exact demands of their customers.

**Responsibilities**
- CNC Turner Programmer Setter - Minimum of 8 years (after apprenticeship) of programming lathes
- Experience of Programming using Fanuc Controls - must understand the control and ISO programming
- Good understanding of metal cutting tools, understanding the right grade and geometry to use dependant on the material
- Good understanding and able to read engineering drawings
- Good understanding of measuring equipment
- Good communication skills
- Competent - able to work on their own and a mentality of right first time

**Skills**
- Experience of Programming using Mazatrol
- Experience of Sliding Head Machines (Star)
- Experience of Mill/Turn Lathes
- Experience in programming & turning long shafts and diameters around the 500mm mark, in different materials
