**Job Description: IT Sales Intern**

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Learn about the company's suite of IT products and services, including their features, benefits, and target market.

3. Conduct research on industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to provide valuable insights to the sales team.

4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to promote IT products and increase brand awareness.

5. Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and product demonstrations to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

6. Support the sales team in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients.

7. Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining CRM databases, updating sales reports, and tracking sales activities.

8. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving customer issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

9. Shadow experienced sales professionals to observe sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and customer interactions.

10. Take initiative to contribute new ideas and suggestions for improving sales processes, customer engagement, and overall business growth.

Qualifications:
1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.

4. Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

6. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.

8. Prior experience in sales, customer service, or technology-related roles is advantageous but not required.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From £12,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coventry: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
