Applicants must hold full GMC registration with a License to Practice and must be on the Specialist Register. RCOG ATSM qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Advanced Labour Ward Practice and Benign abdominal surgery, open and laparoscopic/Acute Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy would be desirable.

The terms and conditions of service are those determined by the new Consultant contract (Scotland 2004) and the post offers a 10 programmed activity basis.
