**Role Overview**:
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will be responsible for assisting with basic food preparation, handling order receipts, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. This position requires someone who is capable, proactive, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with basic food preparation under the guidance of the Chef.
- Handling order receipts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in food preparation.
- Washing up dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a timely manner.
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and organized at all times.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assisting with stock rotation and inventory management as required.
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
