**KS1 Phonics Teacher**

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Key Stage 1 Phonics Intervention Teacher to join a local primary school in Kirkby on a part-time basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Delivering daily phonics interventions to small groups of Key Stage 1 pupils on a part-time basis
- Assessing pupils' phonics abilities and creating individualised plans to support their development
- Collaborating with the class teacher to ensure continuity of learning and support for pupils
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions
- Keeping accurate records of pupils' progress
- Preparing pupils for the phonics screening test and ensuring they reach the required standard.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching phonics in a primary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, phonics teaching methods and the phonics screening test
- Ability to assess pupils' phonics abilities and create individualised plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
