Confectioner

Job Summary:
Hours are between 8am and 4pm Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday

**Duties**:

- Prepare and bake a wide range of confectionery products, including cakes, pastries, cookies, chocolates, and other sweet treats
- Decorate and garnish confections using various techniques such as piping, molding, and icing
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of products
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in confectionery production

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a culinary or restaurant kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Proficient in various cooking techniques related to confectionery production
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Creativity and artistic ability for decorating confections
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
