Senior Sister

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional highly motivated, Senior Sister for our In-patient Unit at Saint Catherine's Hospice. You will be a nurse with significant experience of running a ward, department, or service. Specialist palliative care experience not essential but we are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our in-patient nursing team working with our wider multi-disciplinary teams, and who will strive to maximise the quality of life for those with a life-limiting illness. The aim of the In-Patient Unit (IPU) is to deliver high quality, specialist palliative care support and end of life care to patients and their families. The IPU currently provides specialist palliative care symptom control and support, respite care and have commissioned Nurse Led beds for end of life care. They will carry overall responsibility for patient activity and the day to day running of services in the IPU. There will be opportunities for you to develop personally and professionally.
